What inspires you most?
There isnt't just one thing that ispires me. It's basically everything around me. When I'm in need for Inspiration I watch a film, listen to music, go out for a walk or talk to a friend about an idea.
Often I only need a tiny detail in a film or in a picture that I like and can use it for my own stories. So it's not necessary to look for inspiration but keeping your eyes open for the world around you.
Since when have you been writing?
I've been writing since I was a kid. My very first story about dragons is more than fifteen years old and it's nothing you could call a literary artwork, but it's fun to read it from time to time.
Why do you write in English?
That really is a question that comes up a lot. And it's an easy one to answer. Even though it's not my mothertongue, I like writing stories in English.
And you have to admit that the English reader community is way bigger than the Swiss or German one. So I'll probably get more readers as soon as I publish my stories in English.
What's your favourite novel?
It's hard to pick one favourite novel out of millions. Especially when you read a huge variety of books. So my favourite novel is constantly changing.

In which genre do you write?
My favourite genre is probably Dark Fantasy, but you usually can't put my stories in one specific genre. I've also used features of Thriller, Romance, Historical and Urban Fantasy, Paranormal, and others.
What's your advice for aspiring writers?
Don't listen to others! Just write! That's the most important thing. You can only improve your writing when you're doing it regularly. Even if people tell you that writing is a waste of time. They're so wrong! It's never a waste of time if you enjoy writing. Just do it!
